Genealogy 101 with Mary Risseeuw
Have you ever wondered about your family, ancestry or wanted to create a family tree of your own? In this beginning genealogy course you’ll learn how to start researching your family tree, from digging through those boxes in the attic to determining what questions you want answered about your family history.
We will discuss how to find and analyze resources, develop a research strategy, and how to use online genealogy databases. The information provided in this class does not apply to just one state or country, so you can learn about your family lineage no matter where you’re from. This class will be helpful if you’re just starting out or would like to get your research back on track.
Join us on Wednesday, May 18 from 2:00PM-3:30PM to begin your journey! Class size is limited to 12 participants. We will have some laptops available but you are welcome to bring your own.
Register by Monday, May 16, 2022 by either stopping in the library, phoning us at 920-564-2934 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
